A TRADITIONAL MARTIAL ART
Chun Kuhn Taekwondo is a traditional martial art developed by Supreme Master Kim, Bok-Man, the most influential pioneer of Taekwon-Do. Supreme Master Kim’s martial arts training began in 1941 when he was just 7 years old. In 1955, Supreme Master Kim joined Gen. Choi Hong-Hi to develop Taekwon-Do for the Korean Army. Chun Kuhn Taekwondo represents Supreme Master Kim’s continuous development of Taekwondo since its founding. Although Supreme Master Kim turned 83 in 2017, he continues to teach seminars across the United States and around the world. Master Mike Swope is honored to be taught by Supreme Master Kim and the World Chun Kuhn Taekwondo Federation’s Technical Director, Grandmaster Brad Shipp, and honored to teach the traditional art of Chun Kuhn Taekwondo to residents of the Wichita, Kansas, metropolitan area.
Kansas Chun Kuhn Taekwondo is a member of the World Chun Kuhn Taekwondo Federation and the International Association of Martial Arts Schools (IAOMAS).
